Erin Kalish is the Instructional Designer and Technologist at Wallace Library. She can help with using Canvas and other instructional technology. Erin provides instructional design services for courses and related teaching and learning activities. She has worked in higher education since 2001. Before focusing on instructional design and technology, she primarily taught writing, literature, and humanities courses. Erin has extensive experience teaching and designing on-ground, hybrid, and online classes. Erin is passionate about helping faculty create positive and meaningful learning experiences for students. She uses UDL and principles of backward design in her work.
Erin earned her bachelor’s degree from St. Nobert College in De Pere, WI and her master’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to joining Wheaton in 2024, she was an Instructional Designer at Johnson & Wales University and adjunct faculty at Bridgewater State University. Originally from rural Wisconsin, Erin will always be a Packers fan. Her primary hobbies these days include singing with the Providence Singers and driving her three kids to their lessons and activities.
