Kristin Paterson is the Director of Research & Instruction at Wallace Library. She is primarily responsible for leading Wheaton's team of Research and Instruction Librarians and our Instructional Designer & Technologist. Functional areas of Kristin's responsibilities include; information and digital literacy instruction, instructional technology,
instructional design services, research support, and related teaching and learning activities. Kristin is also the college's primary Canvas Administrator.
Before coming to Wheaton, Kristin served for over 20 years in K-12 public education as Computer Teacher, Technology Director and Library Media Specialist.
Kristin holds her M.Ed in Computer Technology Education from Plymouth State University and earned her BA in Speech Communications with a minor in Psychology from Susquehanna University. In her free time Kristin enjoys spending time with her family, hiking with her camera, and listening to live music.
